Volunteers are integral to making any great community organization run. The same is true for Grow Jackson. We know that if food insecurity is a concern for anyone, it becomes a problem for everyone and we know our volunteers are looking for opportunities to help us solve that crisis. Grow Jackson offers that opportunity. We want to form lasting connections with our volunteers to work together. By working as partners, we can work to address the lack of access to fresh food for so many people. Contact us below to learn about our next great volunteer opportunity!
In addition to this form, following us on Instagram and Facebook are excellent ways to learn about upcoming large events. Community Volunteer Days are also held on a regularly scheduled weekly basis. On Mondays from 10am – 12pm we will be at the St. Mary’s Garden, 411 S. Mechanic St. Jackson, MI. On Tuesdays from 12pm – 3pm and on Fridays from 11:30am – 1:30pm we will be at the Martin Luther King Center Garden. These weekly occurrences are when we work with volunteers to pull weeds, plant, harvest, water, and do general garden work. To signup for these time slots and for more information visit our Calendly.
