The Jackson Department of Health and Human Services developed the following guides to assist community members trying to navigate this process.

To get the most up-to-date information about assistance in our area, call “211” to get current information about many forms of assistance including food assistance.

Online Resources

Michigan Bridges program has an online portal that can be accessed at Click the link, select “Register” and follow the prompts.

In-person Resources

To apply for Bridges without internet access, the needed forms can be picked up at The Jackson Department of Health and Human Services at 301 E Louis Glick Hwy, Jackson, MI 49203.
